My daughter Denise enjoys the sink and the tub so much. She is trying to clean the sink.

I hope she's organizing my drawer and not messing it up..haha!

Lastly, she enjoys to sweep the floor and mop it. She also wants to use the vacuum cleaner but i don't allow her to play with it.

Tavern on the Green

Tavern on the Green is a decent, social and american restaurant located at the heart of Central Park. December 2005, we celebrated our Christmas Eve dinner here. It was when my hubby proposed to me. The place was packed and cozy at the same time. It was like a magical dinner and a dream come true.

Yesterday, we decided to go there for lunch for my sister's bday. It brought back good times, great memories.

Here are some photos of us.

Mommy Moments #3: Yummy

mommy momentsWow, i lost track of days. I never thought it's that time again. Mommy Moments #3 edition for me. The theme is about kids favorite food or anything yummy. Denise is a very good eater. She was even better when she was a baby. But lately, she's hard to feed. She's getting picky with food. She loves rice, soup, noodles, french fries, chicken fingers and hotdogs. She doesn't eat any fruit or veggies unless i put it together with the rest of the meal. She's trying to love banana lately coz she sees me eating it more often. So, gets a bite here and there...

A few of our dine out moments.

Enjoy!

The Fast and the Furious

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Being dependent in this online world, i always seek for high speed internet. A more reliable one and the one that won't ever let me down, charter ultra fast 60 service is the answer to this quest. At this speed i can completely multi -task in ways no one has done. This speed will enable me to use the internet in all new ways gaming, movies, and sending and receiving with mega files and much more at a high speed.

As a stay at home mom, i don't have much time to watch movies or TV. I basically rely online. I feel like when i am offline, my life is meaningless. I admit, i stay on the internet almost all day. For work, i really need a high speed internet. I can't do anything without it.

I am hoping this will hit in my area. A great hit in Saint Louis and it's now available in Southern California. It is also rolling Northeast as i write this. They are looking to cover a majority of the charter footprint in 2010.

Cable is way better than DSL. The speed itself is way faster than anything offered
out there. I am looking forward for a wider coverage. I will definitely share this to
my friends who live in the area where coverage is available.

Quick FAQ Post

So, here i am feeling a bit tired and bored. I just officially came in my office right now...wahhh, and it's 5:20pm..My work hour is over..hahaha! I know, i used to work in my laptop upstairs using remote access. It is pretty convenient.

So, here are some random facts about me.

What is your ethnicity?
Well, i am a Filipino citizen. I am 50% chinese, 25% spanish and 25% filipino. I guess, that's how i can best describe about it.

Do you wear contacts?
Yes, i do wear them. But not when i'm at home. I usually wear them when i go out of the house. I can't see when it's far.

What are your favorite places to shop?
I am a cheapy person. I shop at trendy stores. I am not really branded kind of girl. I go to Forever21, H&M, charlotte russ and the like.

When did you start blogging?
Not long ago. My friend Phebie encouraged me to blog. I am a working from home mom. I can be busy and be bored at times. So, i can sometimes find time to write.

How do you like to blog?
Well, i find it as an outlet or extension of my obsessions and feelings. I treat my blog as my diary. When i was a kid, i keep a "secret" diary. When we were little, we treat diaries as a secret book. But in this blog world, we share it to the whole world and the readers.

Who old are you?
hah! I am 28.

Do you like life?
I love life and i am happy of what i am and what i have right now. I am blessed. Thank God.

Okay that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Let me know if you have more FAQs and I'll do a part 2.

Misunderstanding in Marriage

Knock on wood but this is not my personal story. I have a couple friend who lives in New Jersey. They look perfect together and blessed with an adorable son. What i didn't know about them was the on the rocks relationship. They have been going through a lot. Oh well, they both have their own stories. But what i am pretty sure is that they have problems. And they seem not to get along well. I know they have researched a lot about going through separation or divorce.
I need to share with them about divorce lawyers nj.

I believe that it pays to hire a professional to make things right.

Since we have Denise in our family, vacation has been tough. I have to look for hotels that are family friendly and safe for kids. We are planning to go to Orlando Florida next year and i came across with harness buddy .

I cannot wait for our family vacation next year with a peace of mind.
I am booking my hotel and vacation plans with them.

I love Friday nights. Other than Saturday night, it is a stress free night. I am hanging out with my hubby in our basement. Just chillin, watching ball, drinking Patron..Yeah, right...I am a bit tipsy right now. bwahaha!

Tomorrow, my daughter has a puppet show class at the library. I'm excited. We haven't been in the library for couple of weeks now. And i don't know how she will behave. Fingers Crossed***

My weight loss challenge is getting tough. I've been doing my daily run coupled with a healthy diet. I've been drinking lots of tea and water. I don't think i lost any weight this week but i feel a lot healthier than ever.

Christmas is fast approaching. And we have a party on the 19th of December with friends. I am going for xmas decor shopping tomorrow maybe. I hope i can find some good deals.

Oh wait, my elementary bestfriend Phebie just informed me, that i got PR 2 on my blog site. I have no idea what that means...But she told me, it's a good thing. And i have a good reason to celebrate. I am happy right now.

Okey, i think that's all for now.

Screen Locking System

With the growing technology we have now, we have to stay on top of everything. I was looking for a program that will lock out my screen and gives the other network administrators in my office complete control over idle workstations. And tadang i found auto log off when i googled about it. I am not familiar with how windows really work nowadays. This is basically a screen locking system for Windows that extend capability of the standard workstation lock.

Screen pass can be configured to automatically log off if the screen saver is running and inactivity continues in a certain time set. During auto log off, unsaved changes in open applications are discarded. The auto log out can also be set to logout, restart, shutdown or powerdown.

This is very useful in my office work where some of my co-workers leave work without logging off or shutting down the computer.

This is an eyeliner. It is not white or cream color. It is the exact color of your waterline. What i love about it is that it will intensify your waterline color thus making your eyes pop even more. You look like you are wide awake. It also glides on very easily without making too much effort.

The Book Lover in Ebook

In my spare time, i really love to spend it reading a good book. But lately i have been hooked up with computer, internet and the online world. But i just found out lately that i can still enjoy reading without having the physical book. This is how convenient the online world is. I found a search engine for electronic books. And the cool thing is, you can search by country or any subject you can think of. Like for example, i came from the Philippines and i want to read something about Alamat or history. I can easily find it by using the search engine then it will show and narrow down the search too. So, i can still enjoy my passion of reading in my handy computer wherever i go. Another thing is, most of the books are here in a convenient pdf format. You can actually save it and read it at another spare time without searching for it again.

I am so glad to have found pdf search Try this and you'll know
what i am talking about.

This is a convenient way to enjoy reading. Let me know if you have tried this
and what your thoughts are.

IN and Out #2

It has indeed been a while since my last post and I was thinking: 'surely there must be new things I am currently loving and loathing?'. Sure enough, there indeed are.

IN

My diet and exercise- i already see progress. I've reached my goal yet i still feel the need to keep going and lose more.

The Holidays - this will be our first xmas in the house that i get to decorate and put up xmas decors. So, i am hunting for xmas decor ideas, i already want a tree right now..lol..

My sister is coming in November for her bday and thanksgiving. I cannot wait.

OUT

I need to stop buying makeup. I am IN with project 10 pan. We'll not 10...P10P is a concept of finishing 10 beauty projects before you can buy. So, i am IN to that but i know it will take forever to finish 10. Then again, i hope i can control my obsession considering i am into P10P.

Pimple on my nose - blah...this is caused by the makeup i did for my halloween look.

Feeling unstylish - i feel a big need to shop when i have to be stylish yet i am on a tight budget right now. So, i am making use of what i have and try to be IN.

Not enough time of the day - duh! so many things to do, so little time and motivation. That's it.

Link me below what's your IN and OUT.

Halloween 2009

I was kinda slacky for our halloween activity. I didn't bother buying special costume. I just thought of making use of what we already have and be creative. I was thinking Denise will be dressed up as Dora the Explorer. She looks like Dora(with the bangs) and a backpack and she's good to go.

Come Saturday, all my plans have changed. I realized Denise has a chinese outfit that she has never worn. So, she ended up dressing as a chinese little girl.

While i am pretending to be a sexy kitty, i painted my face. That was it. Hubby decided to be a paparazzi as always..hahaha!

We went trick or treating in our neighborhood. Denise had fun. That's all that matters to me.

What did you do special on halloween? Did you wear costumes too?
